Close on the heels of a good outing in politics, Vijayakanth managed to regain his lost form in Kollywood with a good show in Perarasu.

His last film Dharmapuri did not do well. Meanwhile his next Sabari is nearing completion.

The latest buzz doing round in Kollywood is that Vijayakanth has approached A R Murugadoss, with whom he rendered Ramana, for his next movie.

Also, he has reportedly knocked at the doors of Gowtham Menon, who has proved his mastery in rendering engrossing cop stories.

Both the directors have promised to team up with Captain.

Vijayakanth has surprised many by managing to ride the two horses of films and politics. What more, he has proved to be adept at both.
